2011 LeeFCU 6th and 9th Grade Scholarships
The credit union is now accepting applications for the 2011 Lee Federal Credit Union 6th and 9th Grade Scholarships. Sixth grade applicants should submit their final report cards for grades 4 to 6. Ninth grade applicants should submit their final report cards for grades 7 to 9 and a short essay. All applications must be received by July 31, 2011. Applications should be sent to:

The Scholarship:
- Lee Federal Scholarship Program. Two scholarships awarded – one for each grade.
- Students who have completed Grade 6 – $100 deposited in their credit union account and a certificate.
- Students who have completed Grade 9 – $250 deposited in their credit union account and a certificate.
- Each winner will have their photo displayed in the credit union. Announcements will be made in the quarterly member newsletter and a local Chinese newsletter.
Who Should Apply:
- Students who have completed Grade 6 in the current school year.
- Students who have completed Grade 9 in the current school year with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Students must be a member of the Lee Federal Credit Union.
How to Apply:
- Students must submit the following materials by July 31, 2011:
- Grade 6 – copies of report cards for grades 4-6.
- Grade 9 – copies of transcripts for grades 7-9 and a one page essay describing your involvement in extra-curricular activities.
- Notification of winners will be made by November 30, 2011.
